Preventive maintenance
Breakdowns Are Optional
Almost every January no-heat call started as a small, catchable problem in October. A maintenance plan is how you become the house that doesn't make that call.
Seasonal tune-ups & priority care
The cheapest repair is the one that never becomes a repair.
HVAC systems fail on the days they work hardest — the coldest night, the hottest week. But the failure itself usually started months earlier: a weakening capacitor, a fouled flame sensor, a belt wearing thin. Seasonal maintenance exists to catch exactly these, when they're a 20-minute fix instead of an emergency.
An AJM maintenance plan covers both seasons: a heating tune-up in fall, a cooling tune-up in spring. Each visit is a genuine multi-point service — cleaning, testing, measuring, and adjusting — not a drive-by filter change with a sticker. You get a plain-English report of what we found and what's worth watching.
Plan members also get priority scheduling (you jump the line in heat waves and cold snaps) and discounted repair rates all year. Well-maintained systems run more efficiently and simply last longer — the plan tends to pay for itself in energy savings before counting a single prevented breakdown.
What's included
What a plan year looks like
Burners cleaned, heat exchanger inspected, safeties tested, CO verified — before the first cold night.
Coils cleaned, refrigerant verified, electrical tested, drains cleared — before the first heat wave.
Plan members jump the queue during the seasonal rushes when everyone else is waiting days.
Reduced rates on any repair, all year — and tune-ups catch most of them before they're needed.
What we checked, what we found, what's aging — so nothing about your system surprises you.
Filters checked and changed on schedule, with media filter options that go months between changes.
Know the warning signs
Why maintained systems win
The failing capacitor found in April is a line item. In July it's a no-cool emergency.
Dirty coils and burners quietly add 10-20% to bills. Cleaning claws it back every season.
Most manufacturer warranties require documented annual maintenance. Skipping it can void coverage.
The difference between a 12-year and a 20-year system is mostly maintenance history.
Heat exchangers, gas connections, and CO — checked on schedule, not on faith.
The whole point. It just works, season after season, and someone else remembers the schedule.

Common questions
HVAC Maintenance Plans FAQs
What does the plan cost?
Plans are priced per system with multi-system discounts — call for current pricing. Between the energy savings, repair discounts, and prevented failures, most members come out ahead without counting the convenience.
Is a tune-up really worth it on a newer system?
Yes — newer systems are when maintenance matters most for protecting the warranty and locking in the efficiency you paid for. It's also when small installation-related issues surface and get fixed free under warranty.
What if the tune-up finds a problem?
You get the finding in plain English with a member-discounted quote, and you decide. Finding it during maintenance instead of during a breakdown is the entire value of the visit.
Can I cancel?
Any time, no lock-in. We keep members by being worth it, not by contract.
