How long does a furnace replacement take?
A standard residential swap is one day — out in the morning, heating by evening. Complicated venting or ductwork changes can add a second day, and you'll know before we start.
Is a cracked heat exchanger really a big deal?
Yes. It can leak carbon monoxide into your home's air. It's also the one furnace problem that isn't economically repairable — a cracked exchanger on an older unit means replacement.
What size furnace does my home need?
We calculate it from your home's actual heat loss — size, insulation, windows — not a rule of thumb. Oversized furnaces short-cycle and die young; undersized ones never keep up.
